The Moldova School of Journalism (MSJ) is a non-profit and non-political affiliated organization, founded in June 2021 by the Independent Journalism Center (IJC), an organization with a strong reputation in the Republic of Moldova.
It is the successor of the Chisinau School of Advanced Journalism launched in 2005 as a pilot project of CJI, based on advanced postgraduate journalism programs from Europe and the United States. The school operates at the Mediacor headquarters in Chișinău and, since October 2024, has been a member of the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA).
The mission of the school is to train new generations of journalists, communicators, and content creators who inform, inspire, and use technology to drive change, contributing to democratic resilience and a well-informed Moldovan public, while upholding journalistic ethics.
